After we had completed our research we decided as a crew as to when we wanted to film We organised a date and had booked out all the kit we needed a few days before so we were ready. The day didn't start out as well as we hoped. Two crew members turned up to the shoot late, one of which was myself. I had overslept. I arrived soon enough and this time gave the rest of the crew an opportunity to pre-plan some shots and get confident with the kit. Once I arrived, we still had to wait for the other crew member who was starring in the film. This meant that we lost around an hour of potential shooting time.
We still didn't have a complete plan or shot list for this project so we had to plan and test every shot before we captured them. This had its pros and cons as we were sure about each shot before we captured it but it also meant we lost a lot of time. Despite this we still managed to get all of the interior, laundrette shots before lunch which was useful but we made the decision to continue the rest of filming another day due to one of our stars not communicating a conflicting commitment.
