ABOUT ME
My name is Tim. I'm an aspiring Videographer and Director.
I am currently studying Media (Film) Production at Staffordshire University. I have created this blog to track and document my progress throughout my journey on my University course.
My interest in film has been long-standing. Every Friday evening, when I was younger, would be my ‘movie night’ where I would watch anything from the Star Wars prequel trilogy to classic Disney films. Like most kids when really young I wanted to become an actor, I had taken part in five productions that my primary school held and I had an important role in three of them. I really enjoyed the idea of performing and bringing a role to life but also being part of the production process. In 2008, I was introduced to the modern film industry and the superhero film genre with the first Iron Man film. Marvel’s Cinematic universe quickly became a favourite.
However, it was not until I started college in September of 2016 that my potential within film production was unlocked. I began my Media Studies course and was exposed to the whole other side of the film industry. I quickly realised that this was what I wanted to do.
