Much like the first day of shooting the second day also started badly. Our crew member who was starring in the project was late again and so this set our filming back by an hour. As we had an even tighter schedule this day, we made sure to create a much more organised plan on what we wanted to film. We had looked at different obstacles to make the chase more visually interesting. Whilst we were waiting for our crew member we got straight to setup, getting the camera in position and sound ready to go so that when he arrived we could start filming straight away.
We found that filming in chronological narrative order was the best way to approach this project. So, we began with filming our characters exiting the laundrette. Part of our sequence was to have one of our characters narrowly avoid being hit by a car as they both run across a road. We had one of the crew members drive the car but because our actor was nervous we had to perform multiple takes to get it right. The issue we had was his reaction was too soon. The scenes that followed this were very easy to shoot as it was just a selection of handheld and locked down shots. Due to much better planning, we managed to meet our shooting deadline of 13:00.
